Asherah Allen holds a Master’s Degree in Acupuncture and Oriental Medicine, is a Nationally Certified Licensed Massage Therapist, and is licensed by the Board of Medicine in Massachusetts. Her undergraduate studies earned her a B.F.A. in Acting from Boston University and she has also worked as a medical secretary in many of the Metro Boston Area Hospitals and Teaching Facilities.
She graduated Bancroft School of Massage Therapy, Worcester, Ma in 2000 and New England School of Acupuncture, Newton, Ma in 2011. Asherah is a healer, intent on helping her patients to enjoy living in the utmost form of health and balance available to them. She strongly believes in holistic medicine and the right of patients to enjoy affordable, quality health care. Her specialties include the treatment of chronic pain, trauma, women’s health care, and pediatrics. She is happy to give referrals to the many talented allied health care professionals she has formed an alliance with over her years in practice. Working in tandem with and speaking to your Allopathic Physician and other health care providers is a welcomed part of her work. In 2004 Asherah trained as a Doula and offers this service to her clients when they are expecting.
She offers Flower Essence Therapy, Emotional Freedom Technique, and Kinestheology to further aid in emotional healing, to help identify food and environmental allergies, and to change negative thought patterns. Asherah is also an Interfaith Minister and Justice of the Peace who performs weddings, baby blessings, energetic space clearings, and funeral rites. She has worked as a volunteer for VNA and Hospice of Cooley Dickinson. In her not so spare time she enjoys being a part of the belly dance troupe, Sisters of the Moon, and is a co-founder of
Ritual Arts Collective – dedicated to nurturing creative community spirit.
